    another walnut bowl

    This is another piece of the walnut that my dad got out the river...its 7X3 and finished with laquer..still working on photos..........comments and critiques welcome

    how many coats of Laquer

    I just finished walnut of my own, and put one coat of watco dark walnut oil on it, letting it dry cure right now. How many coats of laquer did you put on that, and type of sanding in between?
    Woodturning while listening to Bluegrass, can't get any better than that!

    Paul I put 12 coats on and sanded with 600 grit between every other coat
