    Not a workbench

    I needed a bench or cabinet to hold some of my bench top tools. Its 72 inches long and made out of salvaged pine and borg plywood. Yes, I painted it Delta gray.

    That oughta do it for you. Having a dedicated space for those tools will make things nice.

    Uh, did you steal the shop cab a friend of mine and I built for his shop and paint it? I swear that looks like a battleship gray version of the bombproof bench. We mounted a machinists vise over the open shelf area, and had it painted gloss black... He uses it for keeping auto tools like floor jack, jack stands, oil drain pan etc.. in. Gray would show oil or grease...

    Gotta love salvaged lumber. I've got about 3 finished projects, and 1 in progress that came from Hurricane Ike scraps that ended up in my yard / on my roof...

    Looks like you came up with a very useful design. It should serve its intended purpose very well.

    I'm sure that cabinet will see a lot of use. Everybody can always use more shop cabinets...
