Accuspray Disassembly

I'm getting close to disassembling my Accuspray HVLP gun because I've finished a big project I was working on and want to detail it before I put it away. The gun is all Delrin and the two halves are held together with screws. Am I going to be making a mistake if I unscrew it? I've never had it apart and don't want to damage the gun. Thanks!

You don't need to separate the two halves to clean the gun. Take the needle out and remove the air cap and nozzle. Then clean the fluid passages with a small round brush. You might need some solvent if there is any dried finish in there.
