    Target USL semigloss

Does this product require stirring before spraying?

    Yes.
I've sprayed a whole bunch of it, and if I still sprayed my finishes I use a bunch more of it.

Yes, it must be stirred to mix the flattening agents that have settled to the bottom of the can. If you don't stir them back in you will have a gloss finish.

In most cases, finishes should be stirred well before using, and anything with flatting agents must be stirred thoroughly. Otherwise, your "semi-gloss" will be...gloss.

I kinda figured, but I've used satin polycrylic b4 from Minwax without stirring and it was fine - and that was off the brush. I thought the flatteners might have a density closer to water or the glycols used in the waterbased stuff, and hence would be less prone to settling out. I know differently now. Thx!
