    What trim with Walnut Burl?

    I am making a hanging Jewelry cabinet for my wife. The door panels will be a dark walnut burl. What wood would you suggest I use for the framing of the burl on the doors and the cabinet sides?

    If not straight grained walnut, is there a lighter wood that would complement the burl? We are looking for gentle, cohesive beauty rather than startling contrast.

    Any suggestions or pictures are appreciated.

    Brian;
    I have seen many walnut pieces trimmed in cherry for the accent and it is beautiful especially if the grain is highlighted in both. be careful in sizing the cherry, too much could be offsetting. if you want darker shades, ebony comes to mind.
