finally got around to putting some of my new-old windows in the wall this week, which of course is an adventure...fitting replacement siding pieces and casings on an un-level, un-plumb, un-square, slightly cockeyed 101 year old wall isn't so easy, wonder why?
hopefully will finish getting the insides trimmed out next week.
then i'll only have 4 vinyl windows left in the entire house, and they're on short notice, as soon as i get another load of cypress from my nephew back home in new orleans.
these are "old style" windows... pulley, chain, iron counterweight, bronze weather strip inside of a wooden jamb, etc.
anyone need some plastic windows? rarely opened and only dropped out of a 2 story wall into the back of my truck once
