Favorite sayings about life? Please contribute.

I'm making a collection of sayings or quotes that illustrate various aspects of life, and might make a good departure point for group discussion.

For example, about worry, from Mark Twain: "Some of the worst things in my life never happened"

Or the old chestnut "You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink"

If you have any favorites, please post them here. It you know the source of a quote, please include that too. Thanks.

There is a such thing as being 'dead right'. (My father always used to tell me that one, usually in reference to driving and how pedestrians have the right-of-way.)

Life is more fun if you're easily amused. (Me)
