    Toothed blade.

I received over the weekend a toothed blade from LV for my new JP BU.

It works great, I am working with maple (my favorite wood) and it eliminates all the imperfections and works great over the knots.

My question is how do you sharp a toothed blade?
I found a Sweden website and they said hone the bevel as you normally do with the regular blades. The website mentions that to remove the burr, you have to hit the blade with a wood hammer into a hardwood.

    Any thoughts?

Just sharpen as normally. you can drive it into the endgrain of hardwood just past the depth of the teeth to remove the burr. Then, hone just a bit more.
