I saw Norm build on of these a couple of weeks ago and this is my version of it. I changed the legs and left off the shelf. It's made of reclaimed pine and finished with poly.

Good execution! (but I think I see some glue...)
I suspect Norm asking the question "we don't know why it's called a Turkey table" has been one of the most annoying statements the NYW has ever asked, and every time that show repeat airs, they probably gets emails and letters telling them why it was called a Turkey table.
Very nice...... and.... why is it called a Turkey Table? Inquiring minds want to know....
Ever seen a turkey foot?
Hey Todd, I have chased a few turkeys, and though I certainly could be wrong, the shape more resembles three turkey fans (tails) than it does a turkey track which has four projections. It may also represent a "jake" tail, which has three distinct projections with the middle being more prominent. Either way, it obviously is related to one or the other!
