    I thought this thread had run it's course but I still appreciate the comments.

    Richard, I spent 81 hours building the chair, including making the jigs and fixtures Hal suggests.

    Martin, I just recently learned about the Smith County Woodworkers. It sounds like a good group but with my day job, it's difficult to regularly attend because I'm gone offshore so much. I'll check them out, though.
