Those are some mighty fine shop cabinets housing some mighty fine hand tools. I can see how it was a labor of love. Thanks for sharing.

I spend more time in miine than the living room since I retired Gary.. but it's still very impressive for shop cabinets. They are the grade of custom kitchen cabinets of the rich and famous, well... almost rich and almost famous.

Anyhoo... something you can be proud of as long as you inhabit that shop. Now the real question is... did you make them mobile just in case you move?

    Again... outstanding achievement...

That is exactly what my first thought was when opening the first picture. Those are outstanding in every way.

Thank for all the comments everyone.
Being a weekend woodworking warrior it's nice to get a pat on your back from your peers once in awhile.

John T. The cabinets are really just sitting there except for the saw till which is hanging on a french cleat. Everything is modular. Basically boxes with drawers, a lot of drawers. If we ever sell these would be coming along with me. If I don't have the room they would be given to someone in our family. Pretty bad when you have part of your shop as a family heirloom....

There is nothing I can add that has already been said they are gorgeous. I assume you made the bench as well? Any photos showing that?

Thanks for sharing your truly beautiful work.

What Jim Becker said..... Wow Wow Wow!!!!

A FWW or WW Article should definately be requested. That type of shop work deserved to be shared with others.

Yeah Buddy! I thought I was looking at a kitchen will I saw the "kitchen island" was a workbench. I envy all that DT experience.

WOW!!! Beautiful work. Hope you don't mind if I steal a few ideas from these pics for my own shop cabinets. Especially like the door behind the door to essentially double the capacity of the cabinets.

Outstanding work, and for shop cabinets at that. Your work definitely needs published in FWW.
When I see such great work like that it makes me feel like a chicken house carpenter in comparison.
    Simply beautiful.

Yeah, it looks ok, I guess (I'm being sarcastic, of course). Well done and you should be rightly proud of your fine workmanship. Beautiful job and I'll add one more wow to Becker's post.
