almost my table top is 3/16 sheet, I built it long ago.

I understand the mags have a tendency to slide. Their real value being in not lifting up.
Never, under any circumstances, consume a laxative and sleeping pill, on the same night
I use them to hold down an incra fence on a steel router table extension. I got some slippage until I glued sand paper to the bottom of the board. Now it wont move no matter how much lateral force I apply. Note only two are really needed and screwed in. The other two live in the holes until I need them for feather board jigs.
