    Talking Good news

i can finally use the lathe again. the bone has reattached enough to be able to work, i still have to wear the splint for awhile, but the splint will double as a finger gaurd from the sometimes sharp chips flying off the tool. if i have time i should have a peice or three dont by tonight.

Curtis - I know you are going to be careful but take your time and think things through before you do them!

Looking forward to seeing what you turn!

    Curtis,

Congrats as previously advised, be careful! I broke my back 8 years ago...twice....2 weeks apart. Believe me when I say it was incredibly more painful the 2nd time and.......it takes a lot longer to heal.

PS.....I had a compression fracture. The 2nd time I was sitting when it collapsed again.

That's great news Curtis. As everyone else said, be careful, if it doesn't feel right , don't do it.
