Router table question for G1023SLW owners

    Guys,

I have the stock cast-iron extension wing on my Grizzly tablesaw (G1023SLW) that doubles as a router table. Not much to complain about, except for the way the router actually mounts underneath. They use a smaller type of T-track system milled into the underside of the table, and "jam nuts" to hold the router up against the table. This system works, but it's fussy (pictures below).

Anybody found a better way to mount their router in this particular table? I was actually thinking of building a box around the router that would allow for dust collection. Maybe I could somehow attach both the router and the box to the table using the existing T-nut slots?

All suggestions, comments, pictures, questions and rants welcome (well, OK maybe not the rants).

I am also interested in this subject, since I just took delivery of basically the same saw last week (mine is the SLWX).

By the way, this is my first post. Great Forum.
