    Delta Model RC-33 Planer

    I have acquired an old Delta RC 13" Planer in good condition. It is model 22-650. (Vintage 1986 ) Does anyone know what the shift lever does? Does this disengage the infeed or does this shift the infeed to a slower speed?

    It changes the stock feed rate between finish mode & rough mode. I generally just use the slower finishing feed rate on my PM15 – I’m not in that much of a hurry.
