    Anyone met Frank Sudol?

I had the consumate privelege of meeting Frank Sudol last night. He gave a slide presentation at a local woodturners meeting. I anticipated that his presentation would be technical in nature, tools, techniques, etc.

It was intense, passionate, very personal, and philisophical as he used slides of some of his work to document his personal and artistic passage and growth. If may have been because there was a very small audience of kindered spirits. I don't know how else to explain it but I felt that I was privelged to see the soul of a man. If any of you ever get the opportunity to attend a presentation by Frank, do yourself a favor.
As if you couldn't tell, I'm still bowled over by last nite's experience.
Hope this wasn't too heavy. Jason, Bill Grumbine, if you get the chance. He's a kindered spirit.

I second your opinion. Frank is a fantastic artist, woodturner and presenter. I'll take every opportunity to be at his sessions.
