    Tapered spoon bit?

Here's an interesting item I found in a shop on Friday. Someone had a thread the other day about spoon bits. I'm assuming this is a tapered spoon bit that would be used to bore holes in chair seats. The tip is interesting also as the ones I've seen pictures of just end in a taper. The maker's mark says D.R. MF_G Co. and I have yet to find a reference to them.

It's a Taphole Auger; for cutting the tap hole in the head of a cask: A Cooper's tool.

Hand tools are very modern- they are all cordless
NORMAL is just a setting on the washing machine.

Not hardly George, I am a teetotaler, I can't stand the smell of taste of beer. When I was in the Navy I was a 2 fifth a day man till I got out in 1965 and I went cold turkey and haven't had a drink since. I just like old tools.

Me,pretty much too. I can't see how anyone likes beer. I take a drink of vodka and Pepsi before bed to help me sleep because of back pain.

You may want to check out Treat Your Own Back by Robin McKenzie. I'm walking testament to his exercises.
