    Jet DC-1200 owners/others

I have a chance to get a DC-1200 (missing motor & casters) for $50. I'm wondering if anyone who owns this unit might snap a picture or post the nameplate info from the motor. The guy said the motor it had was 220v/1ph. I might be able to source a replacement motor from my electrician father. Just want to find something to closely match up with factory. Would anyone suggest a motor upgrade - higher hp? I'd think you'd want to match RPM, wouldn't you? I have to assume motors on these single-stage DCs are capacitor start/capacitor run, right? Anyone suggest an appropriate caster? Other suggested upgrades?

Finally - probably the first and most important question - is this worth it? I've seen online prices ranging right around $400, so even with $250 (roughly) allotted for a brand new motor, I'd come in under that. Although decent casters will push me closer to it.

    Just seeking comment and opinion.

    Thanks -

    Cary

Does it have the impeller and impeller housing?
Measure twice, cut three times, start over. Repeat as necessary.

Yes. I had owner check for a max. RPM tag or something and he couldn't find any other information.
