    Which Air Stapler for Building New Fence

    I'm about to build about 500' of redwood fence. Which stapler (guage and length of staples?) should I buy? Fence boards will be 1/2" width, with the leading edge of each board overlapping the last. The DIY guys on TV recommend 2" long staples. Your experience and assistance is greatly appreciated.

    HUH? 1/2" wide? Nah!!! Gotta mean 1/2" thick. What are you shooting the to?

    Around me, a lot of agricultural grade fences are installed with ring or screw shank galvanized nails - not staples.
