    Breakdown hardware fasteners for project

I'm building office desks with plywood panel bases (shells) and would like to hear what type of breakdown fasteners anyone can recommend for fastening two panels together at a 90 degree angle? Inexpensive is GOOD!
    Thanks in advance.

    sorry...meant knockdown hardware.

In previous post I meant to say knockdown hardware, not breakdown hardware. Thanks!

    Would something like this work?

They're not too hard to install and they make a strong joint. There are other options in that section as well.

Cross dowels might work, but you may end up with exposed hardware.

Minifix 1/4 turn cam fasteners might be more typical.

We've done quite a bit of site installed casework constructed largely with pocket screws on non-visible surfaces.

    Thanks to all!

I think the minifix will do the job, in fact I had looked at it earlier last week. The real thing is that I didn't want any hardware exposed on the finished side, so this should work. Thanks alot!!
