    SCORE!!! (gloat)

Tools i bought today at a tool auction.

all in all 159 british pounds ($258.61)

I picked up a few nice tools today. I didnt have a whole lot of money to spend but enough to have a little fun and get a few things ive been wanting.

    from the picture:

at botttom: a planemakers float, edge and side combo in one tool

    various mortice chisels (4 Ward, 5 I & H Sorby, 1 marples, 1 W G (with a crown) and a few others.

    two turnscrews

    a lock mortice chisel 7/16"

    at top:

    a stanley 10 1/2

    a preston style bull/chisel plane

    a Preston bullnose plane

my prized posession out of this is the float. (the only float at the auction out of 1086 lots)

its 13 1/8" long and set at 3 degrees!

    hope y'all enjoy these pictures

    cheers from england!

    Nice score....

    And of course "you suck"

that float is pretty cool but that 10 1/2 wins the prize for me.
    take care

When you say the set of the float is 3*, is that like saying a saw's rake is 3*? And, you suck!
