Our house had a Jenn-Air range when we moved in. Slowly, the display began to dim, to the point now you can't really read it at all. Since we may have to sell soon due to marital issues (buy HIGH, sell LOW, that's what I always say ) and I'd rather fix this thing then replace it, not least because the installation requires a downdraft vent, which seem to cost much more. I'm a fair hand with electronics, and after poking around awhile back, I found out it could be either the display board itself, of the power supply which drives it. Both are $200+ Couldn;t find any service info, with voltages etc., so when I couldn't quickly figure out which was the problem, we just continued to use it as-is, which is possible, but won't look good in a for-sale situation. SO, if anyone has any ideas, I'd like to hear them. Model # is SVD48600B
TIA
