    With the hard parts done, I cut out the handles using the patterns in my plan.

    Great project. Perhaps I missed something, but are these "patterns" or plan
    available somewhere?

    Paul,

    The "plans" are about halfway down the first page. Its a picture of a piece of graph paper that looks like this :



    I've made one of these saws following this plan and the tension that can be applied to the blade is incredible. A very handy tool and a fun project.
