    Fishing Lure Display Case

My father-in-law collects fishing lures. He had 2 display cases full already and needed a third. Since he would rather fish and buy lures and I would rather build display cases, I told him I would make him one. He asked for walnut and I built it to match the size of his other two cases. It was my first time working with walnut (I am still pretty green to this woodworking thing.). I really enjoyed working with the wood.

Well Gredo, for being new to wood working I think you have done a marvelous job on the display cases. I really like working with walnut. It seems to be very forgiving. I don't know anything about fly fishing. But how many flys could he possibly have? You could fit dozens of them in that cabinet of yours. Nice job. Pete

    Pete-

My father-in-law does do some fly fishing but most of the antique lures he buys are spinners, frogs and such. He seems to have no trouble filling up a display case.
