Looks like the Hal Taylor? Wonderful. Can I see some close up pix?

    Beautiful, Well done.

That looks like the Hal Taylor design ...possibly his latest? The front leg to arm rest looks more sculpted than before.

Nice work - I really would like to do one of these someday. Cody, I take it the plans have changed since you did yours?

Ray, is that maple? The pic is apparently low resolution, and my eyes are old! Bad combination!

Yes, Hal has made some changes to the plans that, in his words, are "not insignificant." I'm thinking that arm to front leg joint is one of the changes.

    completed rocker

The rocker is the new style Hal Taylor design made of cherry, the accents in the rockers are walnut, the back braces are laminated with cherry on the front, ash in the center and walnut on the back. I finished it with Deft step saver natural.

beautiful work indeed! How hard did you find the project was? Is most of the shapping done by hand or with a router?

Excellent detail and beautiful result Ray! I felt I was getting cheated a bit and was going to ask if you had more detailed pictures also.. so thanks for the second set of picutures. I wouldn't have wanted to miss that detail with the leg-seat attachment and the walnut accents.

    Fantastic build....

    The correct word is

Exquisite. Building one of these is one of my great ambitions. If it is not rude to ask, how long did it take to do it?
