Anyone familiar with these tools?

Hi, I'm a fan of hand made tools and love Japanese chisels because of that. One day I began looking around to see if there are any western forged chisels and found a website where the blacksmith, Elmer Roush, http://www.elmerroush.com/Woodworkin...ing_tools.html
makes such tools and will even do custom orders on request. The tools look beautiful and are laminated steel, they actually look pretty similar to Japanese chisels. Is anyone familiar with his work and/or the quality of it? I'm curious and am thinking of purchasing a chisel from him to do some comparisons. Thanks for your time.

The tools look prety good to me. of course it is prety hard to tell with out actualy trying them!! An other well known black smith is Barr tools, is tools are good tools in general!
