Attaching a Mini Gorilla to a wall

    Hi everyone,
I'm new to the site and have a small shop (10X22) and would like to know if anyone has attached there Oneida Mini Gorilla vac system to a wall. If so, how did they do it and if there are any problems encountered.
Thanks in advance for your advice.

I would recommend against that. The vibrations will be transferred to the wall, creating buzzes and rattles. Also tends to make stuff vibrate off shelves.

Instead, build/buy a small stand so it can stand isolated on rubber feet. Even better, build a sound closet around it. Cyclones are not quiet and you will end up running it even when you're not cutting at the moment.

See http://www.thewoodnerd.com/workshop/dustCollection.html for some details on what I mean by an isolation stand and closet.

Slightly off subject, but you don't see a title like this one every day...
