    New Air Compressor

My old (30+ years Craftsman) air compressor died and I am looking for a new one. I am looking for something with 4+ CFM at 90 psi. I saw a Craftsman 33 gal one that looked pretty good and the price was in the reasonable range and under $300.

Anybody had good experience with the Craftsman or similar one in the under $500 range?

One thing that I like about the Craftsman is that they are reasonable about returns and replacements if the unit fails in early life.

Check out the 30 gal Kobalt model at Lowes. It is oil lubricated, 3 year warranty, and assembled in the USA.

I have this compressor. Very quiet. Tons of positive reviews. Oil-lubed for longevity.

What do you plan to use the compressor for?
