I had a problem with my Jessem Rout-R-Lift FX

I bought the lift from Woodcraft back in June when I was passing through OKC, OK. It was on sale with a set of insert rings. I just finished building my router table that I bought it for so it has been in the box for about 5 months until now.

Everything on the lift works great. My only problem was the insert rings. I couldn't get them to fit the plate no matter what I tried. I thought it was the plate since every ring seemed too big to fit. I called Jessem today and the lady said she would have someone call me back from Tech support. I thought it would probably take a couple days before I heard back from them.

To my surprise, 15 minutes later Patrick with Tech support calls me back. I explain my problem and he tells me that they have had issues with the black phenolic inserts and offered me a new set of the red inserts that they switched to for correcting the problem, no charge.

Its nice to see people stand behind their products. I will definitely do business with them again.

That is so great to hear. For years JessEm has made great products and had horrible customer service. There always seemed to be an excuse and the story that they were going to correct the situation. It would be great if they have finally gotten that fixed as it has kept me away from their product line and they make some really nice stuff.

I had heard some stories about their customer service or lack there of so I was a bit worried when I called them. My biggest fear was the plate was bad and I was going to have to buy a new one. I was very relieved when he offered to fix the situation at no charge.

I have purchased a lot of toos from Grizzly strictly because of their customer service. I have to rate this experience with Jessem right there with them.

I truly LUV my JessEm Rout R Lift! Swore I'd never have one, but ....oh well....

A very well-made, heavy-duty lift! Glad to know JessEm is improving their CS to match the quality of their products!

Sometimes I think I am the only one who has not had problems with the Jessem inserts. Glad to hear they took care of your problem. I'm also interested to hear they have an improved set of inserts. I may have to get some of those some day.
