Not much shop time

Saturday was spent at the local Rice Harvest festival Kids had fun.
Oh yeah, I did get some woodworking in... I trimmed all the hedges

Well,
Saturday I went to see the big boys from NHRA qualify at Maple Grove - rain date and a friend couldn't make it, so he gave me his tickets. If you have never witnessed a 4.45 second 330 mph 1/4 mile then you probably wouldn't understand. All I can say is WOW! It has been a few years since I've been to a national. I usually go for the local grudge races on Friday nights - they're a hoot.
I was able to get my CMS mounted onto a new bench/shelf. I built the side tables so storage boxes can fit into them. Now I just need to make the boxes - and get all of the junk packed back onto the shelves.

No shop time. Spent 4 days in N.Michigan w my son and his family (2 grandchildren) @ Homestead in Glen Arbor, Much Fall color and v enjoyable until we hit the Chicago traffic on our return trip yesterday. Great weekend w nature but I felt shop-deprived.
