Christmas gift - Cherry Shaker Clock

This was a Christmas gift to my sister. The clock dial and mechanicals are from Woodcraft and its based upon their Hancock wall clock design, with a few changes. I love how the grain really pops with the BLO and Shellac finish.

Overall, everyone liked the clock and I'm very happy with how it turned out. Should have made two of them so that I could have kept one for my mantle!

Brian, very nice job on the clock. Combination of cherry and shellac looks great. We used shellac for the first time a few projects back. Hardest and most natural finish we have ever gotten.

Nice job, Brian. That plan is always a winner. It has classic good looks, and the cherry really finished out well. Good work!!

    Brian,
Very nice work. I am making the same clock right now, but to hang on the wall from a peg. What is the length of yours? I have a piece of maple that isn't long enough for another wall clock, but I can probably get a mantle clock out of it.
