I'm thinking you did a very nice job on that door!!

The most expensive tool is the one you buy "cheaply" and often...
Very nice!!
Nice work indeed!
It looks great!
Looks like you dont need an alarm system with that pooch peeking out the window!
Great upgrade to your home Mike.
We have a real estate company up here and curb appeal means a lot.
Nice work on the doors. Your curb appeal just went up...
Beautiful!! Pictures of construction?
Making new friends on SMC each and every day
Thanks for all the compliments. It sure was different working with large and heavy lumber.
Jim - as a favor I documented most of the work here: DOOR
Good work, Mike. And, you are right - working with larger dimension lumber raises the bar considerably. Turned out great, though, and a marked improvement over the previous door.
Very nice work Mike. That New Orleans look of the first door somehow just doesn't fit your local. That is a major improvement indeed.

Beautiful door Mike. Definitely an improvement. I also found the use of LVL's interesting. I would have never thought of that.
It’s only work if somebody makes you do it.
A day can really slip by when you're deliberately avoiding what you're supposed to do.
Duct tape is like the force. It has a light side, a dark side and it binds the universe together.
Real nice job. I particularly like the way the curve of the door top rail flows into the sidelight window top rails.
Rob.
Mike,
Nice job.
I'm going to make a new door for my house. I'm curious about what glue you used. Did I mis that when I read through your description of the work?

Nice job! But it is not done..........
You need to do something with that RB&B over the door. Can't see the rest of the house so I can't make any suggestions, but that detracts from all of your hard work. Maybe a sunburst?
