New Year, New Saws (to save for)

Thought I would spread the news and excitement about the latest Lee Valley offering I found out about today. Really, just had to tell someone who really cared about such things...

What would guide your choice between the 8 ppi and 10 ppi crosscut saws?
    Thanks.

That's just great... 3 other saws to add to the which-one-do-I-buy-list... And it looks like Wenzloff is adding more than just these 3 to his lineup...

Hmmmm... I need to find things around the house to sell on ebay to raise some capital...

I would use an 8 ppi for cutting 2X4s or other fast rough cuts. A 10 ppi would be used when I want a smoother cut on 1Xs or smaller wood.

Those look nice... if i didn't just buy 50 old disstons at an auction for $2.50 i would take a serious look ...
wife : "How many saws do you really need?"
me : "way more than fifty, babe."
