What would guide your choice between the 8 ppi and 10 ppi crosscut saws?

I would use an 8 ppi for cutting 2X4s or other fast rough cuts. A 10 ppi would be used when I want a smoother cut on 1Xs or smaller wood.Originally Posted by James Baker SD

Those look nice... if i didn't just buy 50 old disstons at an auction for $2.50 i would take a serious look ...
