    Pics of My First Pens

I just made my first pens . I saw a pen turning demo at Woodcraft and learned a lot from it. The pens on the left are Black Walnut and the one on the right (the first one I turned) is Cocobolo. They are finished with Hut Crystal Coat. Click on the pic to see full size.

    Nice job Dave.

Wish my first pens came out looking that good.

Good job, Dave! Crazy, but I usually have MORE problems trying to keep a straight barrel than I do putting contours into it! You done good and keep it up!

    Dave,
Nice work. I just turned my first Cocobolo pen and I love that stuff. You couldn't have picked 2 better species as far as I am concerned.
