But, it's 20 days later and the clamp has still not arrived. I wonder what the problem is. This tardy delivery certainly does not reflect well on General Industrial Supply.

OK Aaron, but a company with really good service (I am mostly thinking of Lee Valley) would not differentiate between free items and paid-for items. On more than one occasion, I have received free items from Lee Valley within two days.

GIS did not differentiate between free items and paid-for items. It was my decision to wait until after all 4 winners were selected before I supplied the shipping address to GIS. I did that at 5:25am, 12-1-04 via e-mail.
