    jet dc1200c vs delta 50-851

So...both 2hp, seems to have same impeller size and appear to be mostly the same specs... jet says 1200cfm and delta says 1500cmf.

Anyone know the real story or have anything I can reference?

I have the 50-851 and have a chance to pickup a used dc1200c for a very good price. Curious.

    Thanks all!

I think they are both closer to 900 cfms. I don't think you would notice any difference between them.

If the price is that good why not go with two dust collectors?

Maybe floor space is an issue?
I used 2 once - slick. Saved a lot on plumbing. Lost to much floor space. Otherwise it'd be the way I'd go myself

I don't think either will have a signficant advantage over the other. IF you think you can extrapolate anything from the rest of the line you might look at this. It shows the smaller Delta s better than the Jet, your guess is as good as mine if it applies full line or not, but if I was to bet it would be on the Delta based on this and failing any other actually test info.
