Chad, I'd say it looks like a big entertainment center. I guess we'll know in a few months.

Hey, Jim might be on to something there! That is unusually large for a NYW build. Guess we'll find out...!

Norm always does something for each of the TOH projects "special", so that's what made me think of it.

    I read lips!!

    Chad,
Norm is walking away saying, "Spring, you have EXACTLY one year for you and your house staff to install a mirror on the back of the opening. At that point, we plan to install the shower, toilet, sink and finished cabinets."

How 'bout that! The Red Sox and the Pack BOTH beat the curse!! My Cubs are next!?!

Great minds think a like as I was thinking the same thing until I looked at the bottom of the NYW page and it says:
    Tuesday, November 2 NYW 1712
    Thursday, November 4 NYW 1712
So it would appear to be a large New Yankee project.
    Here's another shot from today.

ps is that a new DP in the corner?

He had that DP last season. It's the VS model.

In retrospect and seeing this shot, it's "big" physically, but not really a tough project when you think about it. Basic cabinetry, just larger physically. Could be an EC for flat screen or even a buffet/libary/credenza setup. We'll all find out in January...

I don't think its an EC

I think it's shelves and a window seat designed to fit around an existing window. MTCW

Unfortunately, one you guy will eventually have to tell me what it is, since my local PBS affiliate has taken NYW off the air!

The NYW web site now has the pictures up and here is their shot to go along with this thread.

You need to make some noise with the local PBS affiliate! Call 'em, write 'em. Do they still carry the Woodwright's Shop? or any other woodworking program?
