Improvements by adding a cyclone setup to existing dc?

Hey folks I have the 3hp delta dc...was wondering if it would be recommended to add a cyclone into this setup somehow? Is there something off the shelf I can add in line or what's the thoughts on improving the fine dust collection?

    Thanks!

I know you can buy a shell. Unfortunately, I have no idea how well they work.

Tom's cyclone looks like the one selling on ebay for $189. I've considered that cyclone myself- the price is good and there are a number of good reviews about it out there.

    Check ebay item 270423194251.

    Self built cyclone

I built a cyclone for my 2 hp grizzly dc. Because the installation decreased the bends, etc, the flow actually increased considerably! Almost all of the dust & chips went into the can, and I only needed to dump the bags about every 6 months or so, even when using the planer a bunch on rough lumber. There have been other posts on the build of a cyclone, but if you need more info, contact me. Good luck!
