    A Dust Free Shop

I was searching to find how close you can get to "truly dustless" woodworking. I found this.

    What an amazing shop!

But even with this elaborate dust collection I see some hints that even this shop isn't "truly dustless".
1-Flexible plastic strips on the back of the bench keep stray dust off the tools stored underneath.
2-A 50' compressed-air hose from the reel above the door can reach anywhere in the shop. Tyme says "I can use it to blow loose dust and debris right out the door into the yard and use it as mulch"

I guess all shops have some dust that gets away.

There is no such thing as a dust-free wood shop unless nothing is made.

Andrew, thanks for the post. Shop tours are one of the things that draw me to this forum. This is one amazing shop.

High marks for the organization of his shop and the fact he applies his theory to his practice, he walks the talk. I like his ideas and that he took the time to share them.
