Deft vs. Watco lacquer

This may be covered somewhere but I haven't had the time to search. Is there a difference between these 2 lacquers? It seems that Deft may not be available in Canada anymore - at least not anywhere close to me. My local Home Hardware does carry the Watco brand.

Both are fundamentally the same, alkyd modified nitrocellulose lacquers. A different mix of solvents will affect the way they go on, and how fast they dry, but have little if any effect on the final result. I've never compared them directly.

Thanks Steve. I have used Deft in the past so I'll maybe try the Watco on a piece and see how it goes.
