    Long Time No Post

Greetings fellow Creekers. I haven't been on in quite a while. Life has taken many twists and turns. But I have been in the shop some. I have recently completed a couple of commissioned bowls for a good friend. These were turned from Oak that my friend had to cut down to make room for a home being built. His wife commissioned me to turn them for a gift for his birthday last week.
Blessings to all. I have missed you.

Alan, that oak sure has some wonderful character!! Neat history for your friend, and you did a really nice job on these. I particularly like the first one.

Welcome back, Alan. Nice hefty bowls. I particularly like the rim treatment in the first one. As it ages, it'll get even prettier.

Very nice Alan. I really like the rustic look of those bowls.

    What are their dimensions?
