    Simple pencil box

Made this little pencil box from oak and walnut. Finish is Danish oil. 2 3/4" square and 10 1/4" long.

Interesting design. From the outside no clues are given as to what you will find upon opening or for that matter how it opens. I was guessing that it was a slider as the first picture came up. Nice little box, Don. I bet it takes longer to make than it looks.

I have done so much with so little for so long I am now qualified to do anything with nothing......

P.S. If you are interested in plans for any project that I post, just put some money in an envelope and mail it to me and I will keep it.

    Thumbs up very nice

I like this box! I have made then sliders and one time made some extra long ones with rare earth magnets to hold lid on. see

I like how yours fits together with the curve and all.
    Is it a friction fit?
