    Fancy Pens...

I had some time to turn a few pens over the holiday week.

Attached are two pens I turned for my son. He has become a collector of Dad's pens and seems to genuinely enjoy them.

The first is a Statesman in Rhodium with 22K gold accents and stabilized amboyna burl.

The second is also a Statesman in Rhodium with black titanium accents and redwood burl.

    Thanks for looking...

Super pens Mike---those kits are a little to much money for my wallet.

    Michael:

What company sells that kit?? I saw one that seems similar in the CSU catalog; but the name is different? And their pens are platinum, not rhodium. Nice looking pen. Does the cap attach to the pen when writing or is it designed to be separate?

    Thanks.

Randy, Craft Supplies sells this kit. Close examination of the product description will reveal that they use platinum to describe a number of metals within the family that includes rhodium.

Must be a new kit?? I found it on the web site; but it is not in the Spring, 2004 catalog. At $35 per, it is pricey; but for those that want a quality product, that certainly looks like the ticket!!
