    Another turned box

    Here is another turned end grain box made from what I believe is spalted maple. I had a lot of chunks of wood and I'm not sure what they all are any more.

    Anyway, this box is 2 1/2" in diameter and 3" tall. This box my wife has added to her private collection.

    hi mike,that is nice,love the pointy bit on the top.
    as soon as i get a bit of wood that i know the origin,out comes the marker pen,now where did i put that parting tool??????????
