Just finishing up a project, thought I'd post some pictures. I am calling this a laptop home, it is not intended to be a desk as it will not support significant downward pressure when wallmounted. I will be wallmounting it, but it could also be placed horizontal on legs.
Basically a laptop will be stored in the front pocket, and a power strip is mounted behind the inside pocket. When opened the laptop will sit on the flat surface in front of the pocket, and can be unplugged from power to make it mobile.
I need to clean it up a bit, but it is Walnut finished with Waterlox and a couple of coats of wax.
The chain support is a compromise because I just needed to get this done with (SWMBO is waiting for it... so we can make the bedroom a bit more tidy).
