    Windows XP Question

How does one make their desktop tool bar show horizontal across the bottom of the desktop instead of verticle along the right side?

Make sure that it is unlocked (right click, then uncheck lock the taskbar) then simply left click and hold on an empty part of the task bar and drag it to the bottom of the screen.

normally when setting up a tool, you want to unplug it first. so try to unplug the computer first. make sure to wear safety glasses. then unlock the toolbar and drag and drop it... you can also change the width/height of the toobar to accomodate more icon panels...
