M12VC 2.25hp Router

Has anyone purchased this router and tried it out? Amazon has it with the fixed base for $129 and with fixed and variable bases for about $180.

I was curious if the motor body was compatable with the PC 690/Bosh models... I have the PC690 plunge base and it'd be a good buy at $129...

I don't know if this will help, but the PC 890 series motors fit into the 690 bases. I was starting from scratch and bought the 895PK kit with both bases. I'm very happy with the setup.
