    Pictures - At last

I went and got a disposable digital camera from CVS drugs to see what they are like. The quality is not the best.

    1. Hope Chest/Window Seat - Needs finishing and getting the 1/16 warp out of the top so I can add the trim
    2. Block for my wife's knife

Sean's stuff - my 14 year old son

    3. His "coffee table" for his room - he did 90% of the work on it.
    4. His bed - Made from MDF and painted with red metal flake - 80% of the work.
    5. his shelves - 75%

    Getting him started early.

Sean, you did a good job. I know you will enjoy using the things which you built. What is your next project?

Thanks for sharing. That table looks interesting. Any reason why it was made so hefty?

It is supposed to be an outside bench, but that is what he wanted to make for his room. So rather than argue, I figured it would be best to let him make it. Keeps him interested in it.

    Kevin -

Red metal flake. What's not to like about that? Good sturdy stuff Sean made. Well done.

How long has the top been undergoing "weight therapy"?

    Thanks for posting the pictures.

    Regards,
    Ted

week and a half, it is just about ready to be finished.

When he first said he wanted to paint it that way, my wife and I were very skeptical. After the first coat, it was really "different." After the second coat, it turned out a lot better than we thought it would.

Nice work. btw, not too bad for a disposable digi camera. You'll love a real one. Even if you tkae your media to the phot store to make prints, its easier and cheaper than film and the cameras these days have gotten really good for the money.

    All the best.
