Cant wait to see how this turns out

I have been cutting some bowl blanks today and sealing them from the ambrosia maple.
I ran across this blank and could not wait to turn it ! So I put it on the little spinny thing and turned away. I have some with more of the beetle marks, but this one came from a log with a limb on it and it has some nice grain paterns ! Its hard to see in the pick but I hope it makes it to a finished bowl! Its now soaking in Daves drying method and I hope in a week or so I can finish it. I also have 3 bowls drying now but they are plain compared to this one .

Hey Jim, you can send that directly to LOML when it's done! She loves the Ambrosia and would go with the decor in our bathroom! Keep us posted on the drying process and, of course, the final results!

    John,

There are only a few things you could do with a bowl that big in your bathroom.... Gives a whole new meaning to "ambrosia". Maybe you should put it somewhere else....

Looks great to me Jim. I can't wait to see the finished product either.
