    A little box

    Hi all
I have not been here in some time. I have been busy with stuff. Anyway, here is a little box I made for a pet urn. The dovetails are hand cut, sort of. These are the first I have made with the Jointmaker pro. A rather delicate little piece.
    Thanks for looking.

I like the look. If I may ask: What wood, and how did you finish it? Thx.

    Thanks Guys

Those tiny key locks can make you nuts! They are for young men's eyes I think.
The wood is cherry. The finish is Watco about 4 coats. The surfaces are hand planed then sanded to 400, I apply one slightly thinned coat of watco. Then I sand with 600 grit and apply a second coat. The last coats are just applied with a soft cloth dampened with the finish.
